For the Minster Wildcats, week 3 brings a matchup that will likely come down to the wire against the Fort Recovery Indians. Coming into the game as a slight 7-point favorite, the Wildcats will look to prove they are the better team beyond any statistical comparisons. This week's matchup features two of the top 25 teams in their respective divisions. The Indians rank 11th in Division 6 while the Wildcats rank 1st in Division 7. This looks to be a close and exciting game, which will be fun at least for the team that comes out on top. One of the more familiar matchups of week 3, both teams know what to expect. Minster will hope to continue the recent trend, in which they've won 4 of the last 5 matchups. In last year's installment, the Indians came out on top by a score of 28 - 27.

After a playoff appearance in 2017, Fort Recovery's playoff chances aren't looking quite as good as they did towards the end of last season. Coming into the week with a 2-0 record, they are projected to finish the year 9th in the region with a record of 5-5. So far this season, they've been lacking statistically on both sides of the ball. In Division 6, they rank 48th on offense, scoring an average of 25 points per game - on defense, they rank 27th, giving up an average of 14.5.

After winning a state championship last season, Minster wants to make this week the next step towards another. They come into the game with a record of 2-0 after their 39 - 26 win against the Covington Buccaneers last week. They enter the week projected as the region's 4th best team, expected to finish the year with a record of 7-3. On offense, the Wildcats are one of the best teams in Division 7, ranked 25th scoring an average of 36.5 points per game. Their defense ranks 44th, allowing 20 points per game.

Prediction: Minster to win (77.63% chance of victory)
