Week 7 brings about a big game for both the Medina Bees and the Strongsville Mustangs as it could ultimately decide the postseason fate of either one. The Mustangs can currently expect to finish the season 7th at 7-3. For the Bees, postseason chances aren't quite as high as they are projected to finish 12th in Region 1. The Mustangs are the favorites on Friday, projected to win the game by a score of 32 - 24. Medina looks to silence the crowd early as Strongsville comes into the game expecting a relatively decisive victory. While a lot of factors point to a home victory, it will still require a valiant effort from the Mustangs to come away with the win. The teams are no strangers to one another, playing against each other in each of the last five years. Over their last 5 matchups, the Mustangs have been superior, coming out on top in 4 of them. However, the past won't matter come kickoff. In 2017's matchup, the Mustangs came away with a 21 - 7 victory.

Medina looks to get back on track this week as they come in on a 4-game losing streak. They are currently 2-4 after a 49 - 10 loss against the Mentor Cardinals last week. They could use some improvement on both sides of the ball - on offense, they rank 49th in Division 1 with 19.7 points per game; on defense, they give up 29 points per game, which ranks 57th.

Strongsville comes into Friday looking to put a halt to their 3-game losing streak and build some momentum moving forward. Last week's loss came at the hands of the Euclid Panthers, who beat the Mustangs by a score of 50 - 31. On offense, the Mustangs are one of the best teams in Division 1, ranked 25th scoring an average of 28.3 points per game. Their defense ranks 63rd, allowing 31.5 points per game.

Prediction: Strongsville to win (74.68% chance of victory)
