The Philo Electrics and the New Lexington Panthers meet on Friday for what could be an important matchup - while both currently have less than a 50% chance of making the playoffs, every win counts at the end of the season. The Electrics are expected to finish 7-3, good for 9th in Region 15. The Panthers are projected to finish 17th in Region 15 at 5-5. Philo will be the favorite, projected to come out on top by a score of 31-24. Philo comes in as Division 4's 25th-ranked team. New Lexington comes in ranked 55th in Division 4. With two teams coming in expecting the win, we won't know for sure who's the better team until they take the field on Friday. One of the more familiar matchups of week 10, both teams know what to expect. Philo will hope to continue the recent trend, in which they've won 4 of the last 5 matchups. In the most recent season's matchup, the Electrics proved superior, winning 21-6.

Philo is currently on a 3-game winning streak, which they hope to continue on Friday. Coming off of a 49-13 win against the Morgan Raiders, they are 6-3 and their confidence continues to build as they finish up the year. Scoring an average of 34.8 points per game on offense, the Electrics rank 17th in Division 4. They've been even more explosive in recent weeks, scoring an average of 43 over their last 3 games. Their defense ranks 36th in their division allowing an average of 19.3 points per game, but they have shown improvement in recent weeks - in their last 3 games, they've given up an average of 13.67 points.

New Lexington will come into the week looking to put an end to their current 2-game losing streak after a 33-6 loss against the John Glenn Little Muskies brought their record down to 5-4. The Panthers rank 4th in Division 4 on offense, scoring an average of 40.4. However, over the last 2 weeks, their average is down to 9 points per game. On defense, they rank 67th in their division, giving up an average of 26.9 points per game.

Prediction: Philo to win (87.74% chance of victory)
