This week, the Western Brown Broncos will face a tough task as they head into Friday as 18-point underdogs against the Jackson Ironmen. While it does look to be at least a moderately competitive matchup, the Broncos will need to prove they can elevate their play and find a way to win. The Ironmen rank 25th in Division 3 while the Broncos rank 89th in Division 3. The Ironmen travel to the home field of the Broncos expecting a win. However, the Broncos will pay little attention to pregame predictions as they look to defend their home field. Having matched up in 2018, there is a degree of familiarity between the two. Last season, the Broncos beat the Ironmen 42-36.

Jackson, after reaching the Regional Quarterfinals in 2018, is well on its way to expanding upon last season's success in 2019. After a 28-7 win against the Logan Chieftains, they come into the week 3-0 projected to finish the season 3rd in the regional playoff standings. The strength of the team comes on defense, where they give up 13 points per game, good for 25th in Division 3. Their offense ranks 37th in the division with 27.3 points per game.

Western Brown hopes to make the most of the game on Friday despite being projected to finish 25th in the regional playoff standings. Expected to finish the season 2-8, they look to exceed expectations and defend their home field. The Broncos aren't particularly dominant on either side of the ball. On offense, they rank 97th in Division 3 with 9 points per game. Their defense, which gives up 30.3 points per game, ranks 83rd in their division.

Prediction: Jackson to win (98.63% chance of victory)
