Week 7 brings about a big game for both the Stow Bulldogs and the Nordonia Knights as it could ultimately decide the postseason fate of either one. The Knights can currently expect to finish the season 6th at 6-4. For the Bulldogs, postseason chances aren't quite as high as they are projected to finish 10th in Region 1. The Knights are the favorites on Friday, projected to win the game by a score of 31-29. Friday's matchup will feature two of the state's top 100 teams. The Bulldogs come into the game ranked 80th in the state while the Knights come in ranked 89th. With no definitive indication over who is truly the better team, each side will have to make its case on the field come Friday. Having matched up in 2018, there is a degree of familiarity between the two. Last season, the Knights beat the Bulldogs 44-42.

Stow comes off of a 56-23 loss against the Wadsworth Grizzlies and will look to rebound this week as they hope to finish out the season strong. The strength of the team comes on the offensive side of the ball, where they rank 12th in Division 1 with 35.7 points per game. On defense, they rank 48th in the division, giving up 27.5 points per game.

For Nordonia, this week is a chance to flip the momentum after 2 consecutive losses. Last week was a 45-27 loss against the Hudson Explorers and they'll look to rebound strong on Friday. The Knights have struggled thus far on each side of the ball. Scoring 30 points per game, they rank 28th in Division 2. Defensively, giving up 27 points per game, ranks 59th in the division.

Prediction: Nordonia to win (67.93% chance of victory)
