Friday's road team, the Manchester Panthers are looking to continue what's looking like a run at the playoffs as they take on the Fairless Falcons. The Panthers are already in good shape, projected to finish 6th in the Region 17 playoff standings. On the other hand, the Falcons are projected to finish 14th in Region 13, which would not earn them a playoff berth. Manchester comes into the game as the favorite, projected to come away with a 29-20 victory. The Panthers rank 18th in Division 5 while the Falcons rank 62nd in Division 4. The Falcons will go into Friday looking to prove that, contrary to statistical analysis, they are the better team. The teams are no strangers to one another, playing against each other in each of the last five years. Over their last 5 matchups, the Panthers have been superior, coming out on top in 5 of them. However, the past won't matter come kickoff. In 2018's matchup, the Panthers came away with a 45-22 victory.

Manchester looks to get back on track this week as they come in on a 2-game losing streak. They are currently 3-3 after a 29-18 loss against the Triway Titans last week. They could use some improvement on both sides of the ball - on offense, they rank 48th in Division 5 with 27.5 points per game; on defense, they give up 21.5 points per game, which ranks 42nd.

Fairless tallied up a 42-25 win against the Loudonville Redbirds last week, bringing their record to 3-3 - they'll look to add to the win column once again on Friday. The Falcons have struggled thus far on each side of the ball. Scoring 24.7 points per game, they rank 53rd in Division 4. Defensively, giving up 29.8 points per game, ranks 76th in the division.

Prediction: Manchester to win (95.05% chance of victory)
