Friday's road team, the St. John's Jesuit Titans are looking to continue what's looking like a run at the playoffs as they take on the Lima Senior Spartans. The Titans are already in good shape, projected to finish 5th in the Region 7 playoff standings. On the other hand, the Spartans are projected to finish 12th in Region 7, which would not earn them a playoff berth. Lima Senior comes into the game as the favorite, projected to come away with a 27-24 victory. With no definitive indication over who is truly the better team, each side will have to make its case on the field come Friday. The teams are no strangers to one another, playing against each other in each of the last five years. Over their last 5 matchups, the Titans have been superior, coming out on top in 3 of them. However, the past won't matter come kickoff. In 2018's matchup, the Titans came away with a 49-28 victory.

St. John's Jesuit is currently on a 4-game winning streak, which they hope to continue on Friday. Coming off of a 40-10 win against the Clay Eagles, they are 6-3 and their confidence continues to build as they finish up the year. While the Titans haven't been the most high-powered offense throughout the season, they have been improving week to week. In the last 2 weeks, they've averaged 35.5, up from their season average of 30.7, which ranks 27th in Division 2. They rank similarly on defense, coming in at 53rd in their division, allowing 24.8 points per game. That number has generally gone up in recent weeks as they've given up an average of 15.25 points in their last 4 games.

Lima Senior will come into the week looking to put an end to their current 2-game losing streak after a 35-0 loss against the Findlay Trojans brought their record down to 3-6. Particularly in recent weeks, the Spartans offense has struggled to put points on the board. In their last 2 games, they've put up an average of 3.5 points per game. Throughout the course of the season, they've averaged 13.8, which ranks 93rd in Division 2. On defense, they rank 69th in the division, giving up 28.3 points per game.

Prediction: Lima Senior to win (92.63% chance of victory)
