Friday's road team, the Kenton Wildcats are looking to continue what's looking like a run at the playoffs as they take on the Elida Bulldogs. The Wildcats are already in good shape, projected to finish 5th in the Region 16 playoff standings. On the other hand, the Bulldogs are projected to finish 27th in Region 12, which would not earn them a playoff berth. Kenton comes into the game as the favorite, projected to come away with a 36-20 victory. The Wildcats, one of the top teams in Division 4, come into the game ranked 13th. The Bulldogs, on the other hand, come in ranked 95th in Division 3. The Wildcats travel to the home field of the Bulldogs expecting a win. However, the Bulldogs will pay little attention to pregame predictions as they look to defend their home field. One of the more familiar matchups of week 10, both teams know what to expect. Elida will hope to continue the recent trend, in which they've won 3 of the last 5 matchups. In last year's installment, the Wildcats came out on top by a score of 67-35.

Kenton comes into the game on a 3-game winning streak. After last week's 14-9 win against the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans, they are 7-2 and look to continue the positive momentum. The Wildcats have struggled on offense, scoring only 21 points per game over their last 2 games. On the year, they rank 32nd in Division 4, scoring an average of 30.7 points per game over the course of the season. On defense, they'll also be looking for improvement, which they have shown signs of in recent weeks. Over their last 2 games, they've allowed an average of 4.5 points, an improvement over their 32nd-ranked season average of 18.

Elida comes into Friday looking to put a halt to their 9-game losing streak and build some momentum moving forward. Last week's loss came at the hands of the Shawnee Indians, who beat the Bulldogs by a score of 42-10. While the Bulldogs haven't been the most high-powered offense throughout the season, they have been improving week to week. In the last 6 weeks, they've averaged 20.83, up from their season average of 17.7, which ranks 83rd in Division 3. On defense, they rank 104th in the division, giving up 42 points per game.

Prediction: Kenton to win (99.81% chance of victory)
