Week 10 is a chance for the Olentangy Liberty Patriots to expand their already-solid playoff chances. They come into Friday projected to finish 1st in Region 3. They host the Westerville North Warriors, currently projected to finish 17th in Region 3. Olentangy Liberty has the edge on paper, entering the game as a 30-point favorite. However, the battle for a postseason bid can only be decided on the field. Better on paper, the Patriots come into the game ranked 13th in the state, hosting a Warriors team that comes in ranked 459th in the state and 67th in Division 1. Westerville North comes into the game looking for a major upset while Olentangy Liberty looks to do what their fans are expecting from them. There is a certain degree of familiarity between the two teams after they faced off last season. Last season, the Patriots beat the Warriors 42-0.

Westerville North comes into the game on a 4-game losing streak, which they hope to put to an end on Friday. Their 44-14 loss against the Olentangy Braves last week brings their record to 1-8. While the Warriors haven't been the most high-powered offense throughout the season, they have been improving week to week. In the last 2 weeks, they've averaged 17.5, up from their season average of 10.8, which ranks 69th in Division 1. Defensively, giving up 28.6 points per game, they rank 53rd in the division.

Olentangy Liberty looks to rebound after a 10-7 loss against the Olentangy Orange Pioneers last week, which brought their record to 8-1. The Patriots offense hasn't been particularly great this season in terms of point production, a trend which continues into recent weeks. Over their last 2 games, they've scored an average of 15.5 points - this season they've averaged 23.7, which ranks 38th in Division 1. On defense, they haven't been any better statistically, ranking 9th in their division, allowing 12.3 points per game.

Prediction: Olentangy Liberty to win (99.99% chance of victory)
