The Pickerington Central Tigers are looking to mount a deep playoff run, which they hope will end in a state championship, continuing after last week's win with a game they're projected to win 37-14 over the Olentangy Orange Pioneers. The playoffs are the best time of the year but also come with a great deal of drama as many powerhouses will even see their seasons cut short. Each week, it's do or die and, after this week is complete, half of the current playoff teams will be eliminated. Olentangy Orange comes in as Division 1's 25th-ranked team. Pickerington Central comes in ranked 4th. A new game on the schedule for both teams, it should shape out as an unpredictable affair. Strategically, this might lead to complications that could throw off the gameplan of either team.

Olentangy Orange comes into the game on a 8-game winning streak. After last week's 36-17 win against the Pickerington North Panthers, they are 10-1 and look to continue the positive momentum. The Pioneers offense will look to continue to improve as they've scored an average of 39 points per game over their last 2 games, up from their season average of 26.9, which ranks 32nd in Division 1. Defensively, they haven't been the strongest either in terms of points allowed. They give up 12.4 points per game, ranking 7th in their division.

For Pickerington Central, Saturday is a chance to expand on a 7-game winning streak after their 20-14 win against the Reynoldsburg Raiders brought their record to 10-1. Scoring an average of 31.5 points per game on offense, the Tigers rank 19th in Division 1. They've been even more dominant in recent weeks, scoring an average of 34 over their last 3 games. On defense, they've been just as strong. Allowing just 14.4 points per game over the course of the season, their defense ranks 13th in their division. Over the last 5 weeks, they've been even more proficient, giving up just 8.2 points per game.

Prediction: Pickerington Central to win (99.87% chance of victory)
