The postseason is in full force and the Oak Harbor Rockets enter their regional final matchup against the Orrville Red Riders projected to win by a score of 37-27. The playoffs are an interesting time of year as 7 teams fulfill their most ambitious goal in winning a state championship while the other 217 playoff teams will end their season with a loss. This matchup is no different as the winner will continue their playoff run while the loser will end its 2019 season with a loss. The Red Riders, one of the top teams in Division 5, come into the game ranked 5th. The Rockets come in ranked 4th. A new matchup on the schedule for each team, Sunday's game is a chance for each to test its skills and strategies against an unfamiliar opponent. Strategically, this might lead to complications that could throw off the gameplan of either team.

Orrville is currently on a 3-game winning streak, which they hope to continue on Sunday. Coming off of a 49-27 win against the Pleasant Spartans, they are 11-1 and their confidence continues to build as they finish up the year. The Red Riders offense has been one of the best in the division, especially in recent weeks. For the year, they rank 14th in Division 5 with 38.6 points per game. Over the last 2 weeks, they've scored an average of 38.6. Their defense gives up an average of 19.4 points per game, ranking 32nd in their division.

For Oak Harbor, Sunday is a chance to expand on a 12-game winning streak after their 34-14 win against the Eastwood Eagles brought their record to 12-0. On offense, the Rockets have been one of the best in the state this season, ranking 11th with 44.6 points per game. Recent weeks haven't been quite as explosive as they've averaged 37.5 points per game but they remain one of the most explosive offenses statewide. While their defense has given up more points than usual in recent weeks, they deserve every bit as much of the credit for this season's successes as the offense. Over the course of the season, they've given up an average of 11 points per game, which ranks 5th in their division.

Prediction: Oak Harbor to win (85.25% chance of victory)
