In a week 10 matchup with major playoff implications, the Hubbard Eagles go on the road to face off against the South Range Raiders. The Eagles enter the game projected to finish 5th in Region 13 at 7-3. The Raiders come in projected to finish 8th in Region 17 at 6-4 The Eagles come into the game as 10-point favorites and expect to take home the victory and ultimately complete their pursuit of the postseason. This week's matchup features two of the top 25 teams in their respective divisions. The Eagles rank 5th in Division 4 while the Raiders rank 24th in Division 5. The Raiders will go into Friday looking to prove that, contrary to statistical analysis, they are the better team. A new game on the schedule for both teams, it should shape out as an unpredictable affair. Strategically, this might lead to complications that could throw off the gameplan of either team.

Hubbard comes off of a 42-7 loss against the Poland Seminary Bulldogs and will look to rebound this week as they hope to finish out the season strong. Particularly in recent weeks, the Eagles offense has struggled to put points on the board. In their last 2 games, they've put up an average of 10.5 points per game. Throughout the course of the season, they've averaged 20.2, which ranks 69th in Division 4. The defense hasn't been much better statistically, giving up an average of 13.9 points per game, which ranks 12th in their division.

South Range is no stranger to winning recently as they come off of a 3-game winning streak, including last week's 49-42 win against the Struthers Wildcats. That brings their record to 6-3 as they look to add another notch to the win column. The Raiders offense is one of the most high-powered in their division, particularly in recent weeks. For the year, they rank 21st in Division 5 with 34.8 points per game. Over the last 3 weeks, they've scored an average of 34.8. While recent games have affected averages negatively, their defense is one of the best as well. They rank 23rd in their division, giving up an average of 17.2 points per game.

Prediction: Hubbard to win (90.68% chance of victory)
