In a week 10 matchup with major playoff implications, the Southeastern Panthers go on the road to face off against the Adena Warriors. The Panthers enter the game projected to finish 1st in Region 24 at 9-1. The Warriors come in projected to finish 2nd in Region 24 at 9-1 The Warriors come into the game as 7-point favorites and expect to take home the victory and ultimately complete their pursuit of the postseason. This looks to be a close and exciting game, which will be fun at least for the team that comes out on top. The teams are no strangers to one another, playing against each other in each of the last five years. Over their last 5 matchups, the Warriors have been superior, coming out on top in 4 of them. However, the past won't matter come kickoff. In 2018's matchup, the Warriors came away with a 33-30 victory.

Southeastern comes into the game on a 9-game winning streak. After last week's 46-34 win against the Paint Valley Bearcats, they are 9-0 and look to continue the positive momentum. The Panthers have been excellent on offense all season, scoring 44.9 points per game, which ranks 19th in the state. In recent weeks, they've cooled off a little, scoring 37 points per game in their last 2 games. Their defense gives up an average of 18.7 points per game, ranking 30th in their division.

Adena is no stranger to winning recently as they come off of a 5-game winning streak, including last week's 29-21 win against the Zane Trace Pioneers. That brings their record to 8-1 as they look to add another notch to the win column. The Warriors offense will look to continue to improve as they've scored an average of 36.33 points per game over their last 3 games, up from their season average of 29.8, which ranks 31st in Division 6. Their defense hasn't been much better throughout the course of the season, ranking 14th with an average of 14.2 points allowed per game. In recent weeks, they have improved, giving up an average of 10.5 points over their last 2 games.

Prediction: Adena to win (72.34% chance of victory)
