The Hilliard Bradley Jaguars enter week 3's matchup against the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats as relatively sizeable underdogs. Hilliard Davidson is projected to win the game by a score of 31-8 so Hilliard Bradley will likely need to step up their play considerably to give themselves a chance. Hilliard Davidson ranks 15th in the state, compared to Hilliard Bradley, who ranks 142nd in the state and 43rd in Division 1. One of the bigger road favorites of the week, the Wildcats will look to fulfill expectations and bring home the win. For the Jaguars, this won't be taken lightly as they look to prove themselves capable of defending their home field against one of the tougher opponents on their schedule. There is a certain degree of familiarity between the two teams after they faced off last season. In 2018, the Wildcats defeated the Jaguars by a score of 17-10.

While it's early in the season, Hilliard Davidson is essentially a lock to make the postseason. Projected to finish the season 10-0 a year after reaching the Regional Finals. The Wildcats come into the game projected as the region's 1st best team so it's really only a matter of time before they get another chance to chase a state title. The strength of the team comes on defense, where they give up 7 points per game, good for 7th in Division 1. Their offense ranks 28th in the division with 28.5 points per game.

Hilliard Bradley comes into the week 0-2 after a 17-14 loss against the Olentangy Orange Pioneers last week. They are projected to finish the season 4-6, which would place them around 12th in the regional playoff standings. The Jaguars have struggled thus far on each side of the ball. Scoring 10.5 points per game, they rank 63rd in Division 1. Defensively, giving up 30.5 points per game, ranks 57th in the division.

Prediction: Hilliard Davidson to win (96.46% chance of victory)
