Week 10 brings about a big game for both the Champion Golden Flashes and the Brookfield Warriors as it could ultimately decide the postseason fate of either one. The Warriors can currently expect to finish the season 7th at 8-2. For the Golden Flashes, postseason chances aren't quite as high as they are projected to finish 11th in Region 17. The Warriors are the favorites on Friday, projected to win the game by a score of 36-13. Brookfield ranks 22nd in Division 6 as opposed to Champion, who rank 57th in Division 5. Brookfield, who should theoretically control the game on Friday, look forward to proving they are the better team. A rematch from their game last season, this matchup will be a good gauge on how each team has improved or regressed. In 2018, the Warriors defeated the Golden Flashes by a score of 31-17.

Last week, Champion dropped a game 35-0 against the Crestview Rebels. They'll look to get in the win column this week as they hope to finish out the season on a positive note. The Golden Flashes offense hasn't been particularly great this season in terms of point production, a trend which continues into recent weeks. Over their last 2 games, they've scored an average of 15 points - this season they've averaged 21.9, which ranks 71st in Division 5. On defense, they haven't been any better statistically, ranking 19th in their division, allowing 16.2 points per game.

Brookfield will look to continue the momentum of their 2-game winning streak, the most recent addition to which was a 48-7 win against the Memorial Red Devils last week, bringing their record to 7-2. The Warriors are undeniably one of Division 6's best offenses, averaging 41.2 points per game, which ranks 11th. In their last 2 games, they've been even better, scoring 48.5 points per game. Their defense ranks 32nd in their division allowing an average of 19.8 points per game, but they have shown improvement in recent weeks - in their last 7 games, they've given up an average of 14.43 points.

Prediction: Brookfield to win (97.81% chance of victory)
