The Columbus South Bulldogs come into Friday projected to finish the season 6-4 at 19th in Region 11. They host the Marion-Franklin Red Devils, who are currently expected to make the playoffs at 8th in Region 15. Marion-Franklin have the edge on paper, entering the game as a 25-point favorite. However, the battle for a postseason bid can only be decided on the field. The Red Devils rank 20th in Division 4 while the Bulldogs rank 75th in Division 3. One of the bigger road favorites of the week, the Red Devils will look to fulfill expectations and bring home the win. For the Bulldogs, this won't be taken lightly as they look to prove themselves capable of defending their home field against one of the tougher opponents on their schedule. One of the more familiar matchups of week 10, both teams know what to expect. Marion-Franklin will hope to continue the recent trend, in which they've won 5 of the last 5 matchups. In last year's installment, the Red Devils came out on top by a score of 8-6.

Marion-Franklin hopes to build off of last week's 12-8 win against the Africentric Nubians and finish the season strong. The Red Devils offense hasn't been particularly great this season in terms of point production, a trend which continues into recent weeks. Over their last 2 games, they've scored an average of 9 points - this season they've averaged 27, which ranks 47th in Division 4. On defense, they'll also be looking for improvement, which they have shown signs of in recent weeks. Over their last 6 games, they've allowed an average of 16 points, an improvement over their 46th-ranked season average of 21.6.

Columbus South comes into Friday looking to put a halt to their 3-game losing streak and build some momentum moving forward. Last week's loss came at the hands of the Eastmoor Academy Warriors, who beat the Bulldogs by a score of 33-6. The Bulldogs offense is the 10th-ranked offense in Division 3, scoring an average of 37.8 points per game over the course of the season. In their last 3 games, however, they haven't been quite as explosive as they've averaged 18 points per game. Their defense allows an average of 26 points per game, which ranks 69th in their division.

Prediction: Marion-Franklin to win (92.48% chance of victory)
