Friday's matchup between the Stow Bulldogs and the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers takes place between two teams that, as of now, most likely will not earn postseason bids. Currently, the Bulldogs and the Black Tigers are projected to finish 10th and 24th in their respective regional playoff standings. Stow enters the week as a 30-point favorite and will look to expand their playoff chances with a victory on Friday. The Bulldogs will invade the home field of the Black Tigers looking to come away with a decisive victory. For Cuyahoga Falls, against a formidable opponent, this means they'll need to elevate their play substantially. The teams are no strangers to one another, playing against each other in each of the last five years. Over their last 5 matchups, the Bulldogs have been superior, coming out on top in 5 of them. However, the past won't matter come kickoff. In the most recent season's matchup, the Bulldogs proved superior, winning 41-0.

Last week, Stow dropped a game 45-29 against the Hudson Explorers. They'll look to get in the win column this week as they hope to finish out the season on a positive note. The Bulldogs offense is the 13th-ranked offense in Division 1, scoring an average of 33.6 points per game over the course of the season. In their last 4 games, however, they've cooled off, averaging 27.75 points per game. Their defense allows an average of 29.3 points per game, which ranks 55th in their division.

Cuyahoga Falls will come into the week looking to put an end to their current 7-game losing streak after a 42-28 loss against the Nordonia Knights brought their record down to 2-7. The Black Tigers offense hasn't been particularly great this season in terms of point production, a trend which continues into recent weeks. Over their last 3 games, they've scored an average of 16.67 points - this season they've averaged 23.6, which ranks 52nd in Division 2. On the opposite side of the ball, they rank 90th in the division, allowing 34.4 points per game.

Prediction: Stow to win (99.85% chance of victory)
