This week's matchup between the Wapakoneta Redskins and the Bishop Fenwick Falcons should be one of the more competitive of the second round, the Redskins entering the week projected to win by a score of 25-19. The playoffs are the best time of the year but also come with a great deal of drama as many powerhouses will even see their seasons cut short. Each week, it's do or die and, after this week is complete, half of the current playoff teams will be eliminated. Bishop Fenwick comes in as Division 3's 9th-ranked team. Wapakoneta comes in ranked 6th. The teams did not appear on each other's schedules last season, which presents a degree of unpredictability. Usually, matchups from the previous year are used in developing a strategy for upcoming games. For these two, no such opportunity will be afforded.

Bishop Fenwick is currently on a 6-game winning streak, which they hope to continue on Saturday. Coming off of a 28-7 win against the Chaminade Julienne Eagles, they are 9-2 and their confidence continues to build as they finish up the year. The Falcons have boasted one of Division 3's best offenses all season, averaging 32.7 points per game, which ranks 18th. In their last 6 games, they've been even better, scoring 38.17 points per game. On defense, they rank 51st in their division, giving up an average of 21.1 points per game.

For Wapakoneta, Saturday is a chance to expand on a 7-game winning streak after their 24-21 win against the Trotwood-Madison Rams brought their record to 10-1. The Redskins offense is the 14th-ranked offense in Division 3, scoring an average of 33.2 points per game over the course of the season. In their last 3 games, however, they haven't been quite as explosive as they've averaged 23.67 points per game. While their defense has given up more points than usual in recent weeks, they deserve every bit as much of the credit for this season's successes as the offense. Over the course of the season, they've given up an average of 10.6 points per game, which ranks 5th in their division.

Prediction: Wapakoneta to win (89.88% chance of victory)
