Thursday's road team, the Buckeye Bucks are looking to continue what's looking like a run at the playoffs as they take on the Parma Redmen. The Bucks are already in good shape, projected to finish 3rd in the Region 10 playoff standings. On the other hand, the Redmen are projected to finish 23rd in Region 6, which would not earn them a playoff berth. Buckeye comes into the game as the favorite, projected to come away with a 30-19 victory. The Bucks, one of the top teams in Division 3, come into the game ranked 20th. The Redmen, on the other hand, come in ranked 92nd in Division 2. This is an unpredictable matchup as the Bucks, projected favoritees, will have to defeat the Redmen on their home field. Not only is it unpredictable from a standpoint of who will come out on top, but also whether it'll be a close game or a decisive victory for one of these teams. A new matchup on the schedule for each team, Thursday's game is a chance for each to test its skills and strategies against an unfamiliar opponent. Stylistically and schematically, past matchups are often used as a guiding tool. This week, however, each team will likely take time to adjust to an unfamiliar opponent, which should make for some added excitement.

Buckeye comes into the game on a 2-game winning streak. After last week's 42-15 win against the Rocky River Pirates, they are 7-2 and look to continue the positive momentum. The Bucks offense has been one of the best in the division, especially in recent weeks. For the year, they rank 15th in Division 3 with 35.6 points per game. Over the last 2 weeks, they've scored an average of 35.6. Their defense allows an average of 17.1 points per game, which ranks 33rd in their division.

Parma will come into the week looking to put an end to their current 3-game losing streak after a 37-12 loss against the Bay Rockets brought their record down to 2-7. The Redmen offense hasn't been particularly great this season in terms of point production, a trend which continues into recent weeks. Over their last 2 games, they've scored an average of 6 points - this season they've averaged 19.2, which ranks 72nd in Division 2. On the opposite side of the ball, they rank 81st in the division, allowing 31.9 points per game.

Prediction: Buckeye to win (99.82% chance of victory)
