The Trotwood-Madison Rams enter the regional finals against the Badin Rams in a game they're projected to win by a score of 32-17. It's do or die for each team as always in the postseason. Regardless of the outcome, each team can take comfort in the fact that they had a successful enough season to get here, but only one team will be satisfied with the result as the other's season will end on a loss. Trotwood-Madison comes in as Division 3's 4th-ranked team. Badin comes in ranked 25th. A new matchup on the schedule for each team, Saturday's game is a chance for each to test its skills and strategies against an unfamiliar opponent. Stylistically and schematically, past matchups are often used as a guiding tool. This week, however, each team will likely take time to adjust to an unfamiliar opponent, which should make for some added excitement.

Trotwood-Madison comes into the game on a 2-game winning streak. After last week's 41-7 win against the Memorial Rough Riders, they are 9-3 and look to continue the positive momentum. While the Rams haven't been the most high-powered offense throughout the season, they have been improving week to week. In the last 2 weeks, they've averaged 37, up from their season average of 30.1, which ranks 36th in Division 3. They aren't a top defense in terms of points allowed either, but they have given up less points in recent weeks. While they rank 34th in their division on the season with 17.7 points allowed per game, they've given up an improved average of 14 points over their last 2 games.

Badin will look to continue the momentum of their 5-game winning streak, the most recent addition to which was a 38-21 win against the Archbishop Alter Knights last week, bringing their record to 9-3. The Rams offense will look to continue to improve as they've scored an average of 42 points per game over their last 2 games, up from their season average of 30.8, which ranks 31st in Division 3. Defensively, they haven't been the strongest either in terms of points allowed. They give up 11.8 points per game, ranking 9th in their division.

Prediction: Trotwood-Madison to win (81.46% chance of victory)
