The Kings Knights enter the first week of the playoffs against the Anderson Redskins in a game they're projected to win by a score of 39-24. It's do or die for each team as always in the postseason. Regardless of the outcome, each team can take comfort in the fact that they had a successful enough season to get here, but only one team will be satisfied with the result as the other's season will end on a loss. The Redskins, one of the top teams in Division 2, come into the game ranked 24th. The Knights come in ranked 15th. A rematch from earlier in the season, look for this to be one of the more emotional battles of the week. In the regular season, the Knights won 35-14 so the Redskins will be looking for revenge. Last season, they played as well, the Redskins beating the Knights 42-28.

Anderson is 7-3 after their 36-13 win against the Loveland Tigers last week. This week, they look to build on that victory on the way to what they hope will be a strong finish to the season. The Redskins have struggled on offense, scoring only 29 points per game over their last 2 games. On the year, they rank 33rd in Division 2, scoring an average of 32.8 points per game over the course of the season. They aren't a top defense in terms of points allowed either, but they have given up less points in recent weeks. While they rank 57th in their division on the season with 25.2 points allowed per game, they've given up an improved average of 19 points over their last 2 games.

Kings will look to continue the momentum of their 7-game winning streak, the most recent addition to which was a 41-19 win against the West Clermont Wolves last week, bringing their record to 9-1. The Knights are undeniably one of Division 2's best offenses, averaging 36.1 points per game, which ranks 20th. In their last 3 games, they've been even better, scoring 47.67 points per game. Their defense gives up an average of 22.3 points per game, which ranks 44th in their division - in their last 2 games, they've improved, giving up an average of 16.5 points.

Prediction: Kings to win (92.55% chance of victory)
