In their fourth game of the 2018 playoffs, the Winton Woods Warriors will play at home against the Massillon Tigers in what looks to be one of the most competitive regional final matchups for this season. The Warriors come into the game as 1-point favorites, projected to come away with the victory by a score of 31-30. The playoffs are an interesting time of year as 7 teams fulfill their most ambitious goal in winning a state championship while the other 217 playoff teams will end their season with a loss. This matchup is no different as the winner will continue their playoff run while the loser will end its 2018 season with a loss. Massillon comes in as Division 2's 4th-ranked team. Winton Woods comes in ranked 5th. There is a certain degree of familiarity between the two teams after they faced off last season. Last year, the Warriors got the better of the Tigers, winning by a score of 56-21.

Looking to build upon their 13-game winning streak, Massillon comes into the week at 13-0. After their 41-19 win against the Wadsworth Grizzlies, they are confident in their ability to finish strong. On offense, the Tigers have been one of the best in the state this season, ranking 4th with 46.2 points per game. Recent weeks haven't been quite as explosive as they've averaged 36.25 points per game but they remain one of the most explosive offenses statewide. While recent games have affected averages negatively, their defense is one of the best as well. They rank 10th in their division, giving up an average of 12.5 points per game.

For Winton Woods, Saturday is a chance to expand on a 12-game winning streak after their 52-20 win against the Anderson Redskins brought their record to 12-1. In recent weeks, the Warriors haven't been quite as explosive on offense but they remain the 10th-ranked offense in Division 2, scoring an average of 38.5 points per game. Their defense allows an average of 18.6 points per game, which ranks 28th in their division.

Prediction: Winton Woods to win (85.11% chance of victory)
