One of the most competitive matchups of week 3 pits the CHCA Eagles against the McNicholas Rockets. The Eagles are projected to win by a score of 24-23 in what is essentially a toss-up game. The Rockets will have a chance to move up in the rankings this week - coming into the game ranked 37th in Division 4, they take on one of Division 5's best as the Eagles come in ranked 12th in that division. With no true consensus over who's the better team, they'll have to sort all that out on the field. A new matchup on the schedule for each team, Friday's game is a chance for each to test its skills and strategies against an unfamiliar opponent. Strategically, this might lead to complications that could throw off the gameplan of either team.

After two weeks, the Rockets are looking like an improved team. After failing to make the playoffs in 2018, they come into week 3 with a 2-0 record. Projected to finish 5th in the region, they have a strong chance of making the playoffs if they can win the games they're expected to. The road team brings with them a smashmouth defense, ranking 8th in the state, giving up just 3 points per game. On offense, they score an average of 11 points per game, which ranks 581st in the state and 2nd in Division 4.

CHCA can expect to make the playoffs once again as their projected record of 9-1 would likely place them top 2 in the regional playoff standings. On offense, the Eagles are one of the best teams in Division 5, ranked 21st scoring an average of 39.5 points per game. Their defense ranks 81st, allowing 34 points per game.

Prediction: CHCA to win (97.33% chance of victory)
