Week 7 brings about a big game for both the Sandusky Blue Streaks and the Norwalk Truckers as it could ultimately decide the postseason fate of either one. The Truckers can currently expect to finish the season 2nd at 7-3. For the Blue Streaks, postseason chances aren't quite as high as they are projected to finish 9th in Region 10. The Truckers are the favorites on Friday, projected to win the game by a score of 36-26. Norwalk enters the game as the 11th-ranked team in Division 3, which makes this a key matchup in the division as Sandusky comes in ranked 24th. Sandusky looks to silence the crowd early as Norwalk comes into the game expecting a relatively decisive victory. While a lot of factors point to a home victory, it will still require a valiant effort from the Truckers to come away with the win. The teams are no strangers to one another, playing against each other in each of the last five years. Over their last 5 matchups, the Blue Streaks have been superior, coming out on top in 3 of them. However, the past won't matter come kickoff. Last season, the rivalry reached an elevated level as the two faced off twice. The Truckers won the regular season matchup 52-35, but their season came to an end at the hands of the Truckers, who won the playoff matchup 20-17.

After their 33-26 win against the Columbian Tornadoes last week, Sandusky is 5-1 and looks to finish the season strong. They're a high-powered offense, scoring an average of 35 points per game, ranking 19th in Division 3. Their defense gives up an average of 21.7 points per game, which ranks 56th in the division.

For Norwalk, Friday is a chance to expand on a 5-game winning streak after their 45-21 win against the Bellevue Redmen brought their record to 5-1. The Truckers rank top 25 for Division 3 in both scoring offense and scoring defense. The offense ranks 10th with an average of 38.2 points per game while their defense ranks 18th, giving up 13.7 points per game.

Prediction: Norwalk to win (92.93% chance of victory)
