The Lake Blue Streaks and the Green Bulldogs meet on Friday for what could be an important matchup - while both currently have less than a 50% chance of making the playoffs, every win counts at the end of the season. The Blue Streaks are expected to finish 6-4, good for 11th in Region 5. The Bulldogs are projected to finish 22nd in Region 6 at 2-8. Lake will be the favorite, projected to come out on top by a score of 33-21. The Bulldogs will go into Friday looking to prove that, contrary to statistical analysis, they are the better team. One of the more familiar matchups of week 10, both teams know what to expect. Green will hope to continue the recent trend, in which they've won 3 of the last 5 matchups. In the most recent season's matchup, the Blue Streaks proved superior, winning 42-14.

Lake hopes to build off of last week's 17-3 win against the GlenOak Eagles and finish the season strong. The Blue Streaks have struggled on offense, scoring only 15 points per game over their last 2 games. On the year, they rank 47th in Division 2, scoring an average of 25.4 points per game over the course of the season. On defense, they rank 27th in the division, giving up 20.3 points per game.

For Green, this week is a chance to flip the momentum after 4 consecutive losses. Last week was a 41-6 loss against the Jackson Polar Bears and they'll look to rebound strong on Friday. Particularly in recent weeks, the Bulldogs offense has struggled to put points on the board. In their last 2 games, they've put up an average of 11.5 points per game. Throughout the course of the season, they've averaged 18.8, which ranks 74th in Division 2. Defensively, giving up 29.4 points per game, they rank 73rd in the division.

Prediction: Lake to win (98.97% chance of victory)
