One of the most significant games on the schedule for week 10 is a matchup between the Piqua Indians and the Troy Trojans. Both teams have a solid likelihood of making the playoffs, the Indians projected to finish 4th in Region 7 and the Trojans projected to finish 6th in Region 7. The Indians are projected to take home the victory on Friday by a score of 23-22. The Indians will have a chance to move up in the rankings this week - coming into the game ranked 45th in Division 2, they take on one of Division 2's best as the Trojans come in ranked 24th in that division. A major challenge on the schedule for both teams, this looks to be one of the more competitive games of the week. The teams are no strangers to one another, playing against each other in each of the last five years. Over their last 5 matchups, the Trojans have been superior, coming out on top in 3 of them. However, the past won't matter come kickoff. In the most recent season's matchup, the Trojans proved superior, winning 7-6.

Piqua is currently on a 2-game winning streak, which they hope to continue on Friday. Coming off of a 28-14 win against the Tippecanoe Red Devils, they are 5-4 and their confidence continues to build as they finish up the year. The Indians offense will look to continue to improve as they've scored an average of 24.5 points per game over their last 2 games, up from their season average of 20.1, which ranks 66th in Division 2. While the defense hasn't been much better, they have improved lately - while they average 15.9 points allowed per game, which ranks 17th in their division, they've taken that average down to 10.5 points over the last 2 weeks.

Looking to rebound from a 24-22 loss against the Xenia Buccaneers last week, Troy will try to establish momentum early and sustain it throughout. The Trojans have struggled on offense, scoring only 15.5 points per game over their last 2 games. On the year, they rank 50th in Division 2, scoring an average of 24.1 points per game over the course of the season. Their defense hasn't been much better throughout the course of the season, ranking 20th with an average of 18 points allowed per game. In recent weeks, they have improved, giving up an average of 9.83 points over their last 6 games.

Prediction: Piqua to win (98.25% chance of victory)
