Week 10 brings about a big game for both the Rossford Bulldogs and the Eastwood Eagles as it could ultimately decide the postseason fate of either one. The Eagles can currently expect to finish the season 3rd at 10-0. For the Bulldogs, postseason chances aren't quite as high as they are projected to finish 12th in Region 14. The Eagles are the favorites on Friday, projected to win the game by a score of 33-19. Better on paper, the Eagles come into the game ranked 72nd in the state, hosting a Bulldogs team that comes in ranked 315th in the state and 46th in Division 4. The Eagles, the better team on paper, will look to prove their superiority on the field come Friday. The teams have played each other in each of the last five years so neither is likely to surprise the other. Over their last 5 matchups, the Eagles have won 3, a trend they hope to continue. In last year's installment, the Bulldogs came out on top by a score of 35-34.

Rossford comes into the game on a 5-game winning streak. After last week's 41-6 win against the Woodmore Wildcats, they are 7-2 and look to continue the positive momentum. While the Bulldogs offense has not been particularly great, ranked 38th in Division 4 with 29.1 points per game, they have improved in recent weeks, averaging 36.67 points over their last 3 contests. They rank similarly on defense, coming in at 51st in their division, allowing 22.3 points per game. That number has generally gone up in recent weeks as they've given up an average of 14.25 points in their last 4 games.

Eastwood will look to continue the momentum of their 9-game winning streak, the most recent addition to which was a 34-12 win against the Elmwood Royals last week, bringing their record to 9-0. The Eagles rank 13th in Division 5 on offense, scoring an average of 40. However, over the last 2 weeks, their average is down to 34 points per game. Nevertheless, the defense could actually be the true strength of the team, which they've shown in their most recent contests. Over the last 5 games, they've allowed only 5.8 points per game. However, success on defense isn't just a recent trend - on the season, their defense ranks 4th in their division, allowing 10 points per game.

Prediction: Eastwood to win (99.73% chance of victory)
