In a week 10 matchup with major playoff implications, the Summit Country Day Silver Knights go on the road to face off against the Roger Bacon Spartans. The Silver Knights enter the game projected to finish 7th in Region 20 at 9-2. The Spartans come in projected to finish 6th in Region 16 at 9-1 The Spartans come into the game as 16-point favorites and expect to take home the victory and ultimately complete their pursuit of the postseason. For Summit Country Day, this is a chance to prove themselves legitimate by coming out on top against a solid opponent. For Roger Bacon, this week is simply about doing what's expected of them. A new matchup on the schedule for each team, Friday's game is a chance for each to test its skills and strategies against an unfamiliar opponent. Usually, matchups from the previous year are used in developing a strategy for upcoming games. For these two, no such opportunity will be afforded.

Summit Country Day will look to rebound this week after their CHCA Eagles in their last game. The Silver Knights have struggled on offense, scoring only 27.5 points per game over their last 2 games. On the year, they rank 35th in Division 5, scoring an average of 30.4 points per game over the course of the season. The defense hasn't been much better statistically, giving up an average of 14.6 points per game, which ranks 14th in their division.

For Roger Bacon, Friday is a chance to expand on a 5-game winning streak after their 53-0 win against the Norwood Indians brought their record to 8-1. The Spartans offense is one of the most high-powered in their division, particularly in recent weeks. For the year, they rank 6th in Division 4 with 38.1 points per game. Over the last 2 weeks, they've scored an average of 38.1. While recent games have affected averages negatively, their defense is one of the best as well. They rank 9th in their division, giving up an average of 12.4 points per game.

Prediction: Roger Bacon to win (91.59% chance of victory)
