The Bucyrus Redmen and the Wynford Royals meet on Friday for what could be an important matchup - while both currently have less than a 50% chance of making the playoffs, every win counts at the end of the season. The Redmen are expected to finish 5-5, good for 14th in Region 22. The Royals are projected to finish 11th in Region 18 at 7-3. Wynford will be the favorite, projected to come out on top by a score of 40-10. While the Royals look forward to a potentially dominant home victory, the Redmen come in looking for the huge upset. One of the more familiar matchups of week 10, both teams know what to expect. Wynford will hope to continue the recent trend, in which they've won 5 of the last 5 matchups. In last year's installment, the Royals came out on top by a score of 35-0.

Bucyrus comes into the game on a 2-game winning streak. After last week's 35-21 win against the Upper Sandusky Rams, they are 5-4 and look to continue the positive momentum. While the Redmen haven't been the most high-powered offense throughout the season, they have been improving week to week. In the last 2 weeks, they've averaged 36.5, up from their season average of 22.7, which ranks 65th in Division 6. They rank similarly on defense, coming in at 40th in their division, allowing 21.6 points per game. That number has generally gone up in recent weeks as they've given up an average of 15.2 points in their last 5 games.

Wynford will look to continue the momentum of their 3-game winning streak, the most recent addition to which was a 20-8 win against the Mohawk Warriors last week, bringing their record to 6-3. The Royals are undeniably one of Division 5's best offenses, averaging 33.7 points per game, which ranks 23rd. In their last 3 games, they've been even better, scoring 42.33 points per game. Nevertheless, the defense could actually be the true strength of the team, which they've shown in their most recent contests. Over the last 2 games, they've allowed only 9 points per game. However, success on defense isn't just a recent trend - on the season, their defense ranks 17th in their division, allowing 15.3 points per game.

Prediction: Wynford to win (99.84% chance of victory)
