As the playoff picture begins to take shape for the Grandview Heights Bobcats and the Bishop Ready Silver Knights, they come up on an important matchup against one another in week 10. The Bobcats are confident that how they finish the season will be enough to bring them to the playoffs - they come into the game projected to finish 7th in the Region 24 playoff standings. For the Silver Knights, chances aren't looking quite as good as they're projected to finish 13th in Region 19. The Silver Knights will come in as the favorites, projected to win the game 27-18. Grandview Heights hopes to mount an effort on Friday that will prove that they are, indeed, the better of the two. Having matched up in 2018, there is a degree of familiarity between the two. Last year, the Bobcats got the better of the Silver Knights, winning by a score of 17-16.

Grandview Heights comes off of a 28-7 loss against the Columbus Academy Vikings and will look to rebound this week as they hope to finish out the season strong. The Bobcats offense hasn't been particularly great this season in terms of point production, a trend which continues into recent weeks. Over their last 2 games, they've scored an average of 10.5 points - this season they've averaged 20.4, which ranks 75th in Division 6. On defense, they'll also be looking for improvement, which they have shown signs of in recent weeks. Over their last 3 games, they've allowed an average of 14.67 points, an improvement over their 45th-ranked season average of 22.2.

After a 35-14 win against the Bexley Lions brought their record to 4-5, Bishop Ready will be looking to carry that momentum over and earn another victory. The Silver Knights have struggled on offense, scoring only 18.5 points per game over their last 4 games. On the year, they rank 73rd in Division 5, scoring an average of 21.3 points per game over the course of the season. They've played at a simiar level on defense, ranking 50th in their division, giving up 22.9 points per game. Over their last 2 games, however, they have made progress, giving up an average of 17 points per game.

Prediction: Bishop Ready to win (56.74% chance of victory)
