The postseason has arrived and the Southeastern Panthers enter their first round matchup against the Dayton Christian Warriors projected to win by a score of 35-27. It's do or die for each team as always in the postseason. Regardless of the outcome, each team can take comfort in the fact that they had a successful enough season to get here, but only one team will be satisfied with the result as the other's season will end on a loss. The Warriors, one of the top teams in Division 6, come into the game ranked 43rd. The Panthers come in ranked 28th. A new matchup on the schedule for each team, Saturday's game is a chance for each to test its skills and strategies against an unfamiliar opponent. Strategically, this might lead to complications that could throw off the gameplan of either team.

Looking to build upon their 3-game winning streak, Dayton Christian comes into the week at 8-2. After their 44-0 win against the Jefferson Township Broncos, they are confident in their ability to finish strong. Particularly in recent weeks, the Warriors offense has struggled to put points on the board. In their last 4 games, they've put up an average of 27.5 points per game. Throughout the course of the season, they've averaged 31.6, which ranks 30th in Division 6. While the defense hasn't been much better, they have improved lately - while they average 11.6 points allowed per game, which ranks 10th in their division, they've taken that average down to 4 points over the last 3 weeks.

Southeastern will look to continue the momentum of their 10-game winning streak, the most recent addition to which was a 66-37 win against the Adena Warriors last week, bringing their record to 10-0. Thus far, the Panthers offense has averaged 47 points per game offensively, which ranks 8th in the state. In recent weeks, they've been even more powerful, scoring an average of 56 points per game over the last 2 weeks. Their defense allows an average of 20.5 points per game, which ranks 36th in their division.

Prediction: Southeastern to win (96.16% chance of victory)
