One of the most competitive matchups of week 4 pits the Port Clinton Redskins against the Bowsher Rebels. The Redskins are projected to win by a score of 22-21 in what is essentially a toss-up game. With no definitive indication over who is truly the better team, each side will have to make its case on the field come Friday. The teams did not appear on each other's schedules last season, which presents a degree of unpredictability. Stylistically and schematically, past matchups are often used as a guiding tool. This week, however, each team will likely take time to adjust to an unfamiliar opponent, which should make for some added excitement.

While it's early in the season, Bowsher does not look in any better of a situation than they were last year regarding playoff contention. They finished last season 4-6 and come into the week with a current record of 2-1. Currently projected at 10th in the region, they'll need every win they can get to earn a spot in the playoffs. Thus far, they haven't been particularly strong in terms of scoring on either side of the ball. Their offense ranks 49th in Division 1, scoring an average of 19.7 points per game. On defense, giving up 27 points per game, they rank 48th in the division.

Port Clinton hopes to make the most of the game on Friday despite being projected to finish 20th in the regional playoff standings. Expected to finish the season 3-7, they look to exceed expectations and defend their home field. The Redskins aren't particularly dominant on either side of the ball. On offense, they rank 95th in Division 4 with 9 points per game. Their defense, which gives up 34.7 points per game, ranks 91st in their division.

Prediction: Port Clinton to win (69.66% chance of victory)
