One of the most significant games on the schedule for week 10 is a matchup between the Cleveland Heights Tigers and the Maple Heights Mustangs. Both teams have a solid likelihood of making the playoffs, the Tigers projected to finish 6th in Region 1 and the Mustangs projected to finish 7th in Region 6. The Tigers are projected to take home the victory on Friday by a score of 32-25. The Tigers head into Friday ranked 58th in the state and will travel to take on a fellow top-100 team as the Mustangs come in ranked 50th. Cleveland Heights comes in expecting to come away with the road victory. However, it looks to be one of the more hotly contested matchups of the week and Maple Heights will be looking to defend their home field and finish the game on top. The teams are no strangers to one another, playing against each other in each of the last five years. Over their last 5 matchups, the Tigers have been superior, coming out on top in 3 of them. However, the past won't matter come kickoff. In 2018's matchup, the Mustangs came away with a 28-21 victory.

Looking to build upon their 8-game winning streak, Cleveland Heights comes into the week at 8-1. After their 52-8 win against the Shaw Cardinals, they are confident in their ability to finish strong. Scoring an average of 36.1 points per game on offense, the Tigers rank 8th in Division 1. They've been even more explosive in recent weeks, scoring an average of 54 over their last 2 games. On defense, they've been just as strong. Allowing just 14.2 points per game over the course of the season, their defense ranks 14th in their division. Over the last 3 weeks, they've been even more proficient, giving up just 6.67 points per game.

Maple Heights tallied up a 46-6 win against the Warrensville Heights Tigers last week, bringing their record to 7-2 - they'll look to add to the win column once again on Friday. The Mustangs offense is the 14th-ranked offense in Division 2, scoring an average of 37.6 points per game over the course of the season. In their last 2 games, however, they haven't been quite as explosive as they've averaged 26 points per game. Their defense allows an average of 20.9 points per game, which ranks 29th in their division.

Prediction: Cleveland Heights to win (83.82% chance of victory)
