The postseason is in full force and the Dublin Coffman Shamrocks enter their regional final matchup against the Springfield Wildcats projected to win by a score of 31-20. The playoffs are the best time of the year but also come with a great deal of drama as many powerhouses will even see their seasons cut short. Each week, it's do or die and, after this week is complete, half of the current playoff teams will be eliminated. The Shamrocks, one of the top teams in Division 1, come into the game ranked 5th. The Wildcats come in ranked 12th. A new game on the schedule for both teams, it should shape out as an unpredictable affair. Strategically, this might lead to complications that could throw off the gameplan of either team.

Dublin Coffman comes into the game on a 4-game winning streak. After last week's 42-17 win against the Whitmer Panthers, they are 10-2 and look to continue the positive momentum. The Shamrocks have boasted one of Division 1's best offenses all season, averaging 34 points per game, which ranks 9th. In their last 2 games, they've been even better, scoring 43.5 points per game. On defense, they've been just as strong. Allowing just 14.5 points per game over the course of the season, their defense ranks 13th in their division. Over the last 7 weeks, they've been even more proficient, giving up just 12.57 points per game.

For Springfield, Saturday is a chance to expand on a 10-game winning streak after their 37-14 win against the Dublin Jerome Celtics brought their record to 11-1. The Wildcats offense is the 10th-ranked offense in Division 1, scoring an average of 33.7 points per game over the course of the season. In their last 3 games, however, they haven't been quite as explosive as they've averaged 27 points per game. While recent games have affected averages negatively, their defense is one of the best as well. They rank 3rd in their division, giving up an average of 10.8 points per game.

Prediction: Dublin Coffman to win (65.26% chance of victory)
