In a week 7 matchup with major playoff implications, the Tri-Valley Scotties go on the road to face off against the Sheridan Generals. The Scotties enter the game projected to finish 6th in Region 11 at 8-2. The Generals come in projected to finish 7th in Region 11 at 8-2 The Scotties come into the game as 13-point favorites and expect to take home the victory and ultimately complete their pursuit of the postseason. The Scotties come into the week ranked 9th in Division 3. They'll go up against another one of the division's best as the Generals come in ranked 23rd. This is an unpredictable matchup as the Scotties, projected favoritees, will have to defeat the Generals on their home field. Not only is it unpredictable from a standpoint of who will come out on top, but also whether it'll be a close game or a decisive victory for one of these teams. The teams have played each other in each of the last five years so neither is likely to surprise the other. Over their last 5 matchups, the Scotties have won 4, a trend they hope to continue. In 2018's matchup, the Scotties came away with a 20-19 victory.

After their 73-24 win against the New Lexington Panthers last week, Tri-Valley is 4-2 and looks to finish the season strong. They're a high-powered offense, scoring an average of 38.2 points per game, ranking 10th in Division 3. Their defense gives up an average of 16.5 points per game, which ranks 30th in the division.

Sheridan is no stranger to winning recently as they come off of a 5-game winning streak, including last week's 21-19 win against the Philo Electrics. That brings their record to 5-1 as they look to add another notch to the win column. On defense, the strength of the team thus far, they rank 15th in Division 3, allowing an average of 12.8 points per game. Offensively, their average of 22 ranks 68th in their division.

Prediction: Tri-Valley to win (52.86% chance of victory)
