Week 10 brings about a big game for both the Kenton Ridge Cougars and the Shawnee Braves as it could ultimately decide the postseason fate of either one. The Braves can currently expect to finish the season 3rd at 8-2. For the Cougars, postseason chances aren't quite as high as they are projected to finish 13th in Region 16. The Braves are the favorites on Friday, projected to win the game by a score of 30-23. The Braves come into the game ranked 23rd in Division 5 while the Cougars comes in ranked 52nd in Division 4. This looks to be a close and exciting game, which will be fun at least for the team that comes out on top. One of the more familiar matchups of week 10, both teams know what to expect. Kenton Ridge will hope to continue the recent trend, in which they've won 3 of the last 5 matchups. In 2018's matchup, the Cougars came away with a 47-30 victory.

Kenton Ridge hopes to build off of last week's 35-29 win against the Tecumseh Arrows and finish the season strong. The Cougars offense hasn't been particularly great this season in terms of point production, a trend which continues into recent weeks. Over their last 4 games, they've scored an average of 16.25 points - this season they've averaged 27, which ranks 47th in Division 4. Defensively, giving up 23.9 points per game, they rank 60th in the division.

Coming off of a 56-34 loss against the Jonathan Alder Pioneers, Shawnee, hopes to build some momentum and rebound strongly with a win. In recent weeks, the Braves haven't been quite as explosive on offense but they remain the 11th-ranked offense in Division 5, scoring an average of 41.2 points per game. Their defense allows an average of 24 points per game, which ranks 58th in their division.

Prediction: Shawnee to win (96.16% chance of victory)
